Competitor intelligence

A fast-growing annuities business was considering a number of options for increasing distribution in particular through strategic partnerships. Before deciding on their strategy they wanted to understand how a small number of close competitors were structured. We researched the organisational structures of those businesses with a particular focus on sales and account management as well as the executive management and provided profile information on key players. This information helped shape our client’s thinking and we went on to conduct a full scale search resulting in the successful appointment of a sales director.
