Talent mapping and benchmarking

The savings and investments division of a retail bank had the potential requirement for two individuals to manage product performance across all the products in the investment and retirement solutions portfolio. The client was considering what the ideal structure for his team might be and wanted to benchmark internal talent in the team.

This was a wide-ranging piece of research covering some 50 companies in the pensions, investments and savings sector identifying organisational structures and reporting lines as well as profile details – experience, remuneration, location etc from which the client was able to select a number of individuals for general assessment and benchmarking against internal candidates which reinforced their view that they should invest in their internal talent.
